Music Beginnings

Devin began singing and playing piano at a very young age. He always knew he loved to sing and would often sing in church and school choirs.

During eleventh grade in high school, Devin was a participant in the 2009 second annual Disney's Dreamers Academy, hosted by Steve Harvey. The academy was created to encourage African-American high school students to realize and strive towards their dreams in life. The experience pushed him to follow his dream of becoming a professional musician. After coming home from the academy, he began writing songs and composing music. In the same year, Osborne began making his first self-produced album called "Bring Me Peace." The songs were written by Osborne himself, while most of the music production was done by his cousin and early mentor, Anthony A-Major Russell. The title song was the first song he ever wrote, coming form a very bad experience he endured starting high school and found new inspiration to put those feelings into a song.

After completing his first album in 2010, Osborne began following the path of writing and producing his own music, when he became more fascinated with music production software and wanted to learn how to produce the music himself. He believed that learning this would greatly help him in creating more music and come up with more ideas. It was at this he also began his studies in classical music. After completing his education and getting his bachelor's degree in 2016, Devin continues to write his own music; as well as put out cover songs and other types on remixes.
